How much are you willing to wager on Bavetta

In case you were wondering, you can bet on the "Amazing Race" over at Bodog.com.

Current odds are:

Charles Barkley +145

Dick Bavetta -190

I'm not into gambling, never really have been - although I did win $600 once during a trip to Reno - but that's another story for another time. With that being said, I have no idea what those numbers mean... could someone be so kind to explain to me how the system works? Much appreciated.

This is a moneyline, as opposed to a point spread you're more familiar with. Here's what wikipedia has to say about it:

"For example, a baseball game between the St. Louis Cardinals and Chicago Cubs might have a moneyline on St. Louis (the favorite) at -200 and Chicago (the underdog) at +180. A bettor looking to take St. Louis must risk $200 for every $100 he wishes to win over and above the initial $200 bet. A person wagering on Chicago will win $180 for every $100 he bets."

Essentially, Bavetta is the favorite.
